Retro Tower Defense uses events for limited Towers, skins, currencies, maps, passes, and collaboration objectives. The live official title currently reads [FORSAKEN COLLAB] Retro Tower Defense, and three official badges updated on August 21, 2026 define Forsaken map clears. That establishes a current event state without requiring this hub to invent a shop inventory or patch list.

Current event routes

The official public game page does not list an event end date, map roster, shop catalog, or currency name. Current community schedules report a four-map event and a September 4 window, but those values remain Community corroborated and should be checked in the live event panel before planning a final-day grind.

Verify that an event is live

Use several signals together: the official Experience title or description, a developer-owned announcement or Roblox event page, newly created or updated official badges, and the event UI in the game. A video title or old wiki page alone can remain searchable long after a shop closes.

Check the lobby for a timer, event button, map selector, Mission group, currency balance, and shop. If the menu shows a countdown, record its timezone or local rendering. Do not convert an undated screenshot into a universal deadline.

Plan the event before farming

List the rewards you actually want. Write the cost or objective shown in the live UI, the current balance, the realistic reward from a successful run, and the remaining sessions you can play. Include queue, loading, and failure time. This turns a vague grind into a reachable priority list.

Complete guaranteed badge or Mission rewards before spending currency on low-priority extras when both use the same map. If the event has a pass, identify free and paid tracks and whether progress continues after the shop closes. Do not buy a pass based on a community summary without reading the current purchase panel.

Forsaken badge objectives

The official Badge API supplies exact conditions:

  • Home Turf: win three Classic Mode games on any Forsaken map; any difficulty; modifiers allowed. It awards the RTD Jane Doe skin in Forsaken.
  • Clean Sweep: win Classic Mode on every Forsaken map on Normal; no modifiers. It awards the Hyperlaser Chance skin in Forsaken.
  • Home Run: win Classic Mode on every Forsaken map on Hard; no modifiers. It awards the 4x4x4x4 skin in Forsaken.

These conditions are first-party. The map count and names are not present in the badge text. Use the current event selector and a progress checklist. The Forsaken Badges guide explains a safe order and reward-delivery checks.

Limited content versus permanent systems

An event can introduce a mode or Tower Path that remains after its pass ends. Community documentation says the Endless Event introduced Endless Mode and a limited battle pass, while the official current description still advertises infinite Endless play. That supports treating the mode as current and the old pass as historical unless the live UI returns it.

Similarly, an event tower can later move to a permanent Tower Path or return banner. Mark the current acquisition route rather than labeling the tower permanently unobtainable from its launch history. A skin can remain tradeable after direct acquisition closes; the live trade interface must confirm that separately.

Event currency decisions

Do not assume event currency behaves like Tix. Check where it drops, whether failed runs pay anything, whether Missions add bonuses, what the shop accepts, and what happens at the deadline. A claimed automatic conversion requires live or developer evidence.

Spend in priority order: unique permanent target, progression item that helps complete the event, desired cosmetic, then consumables. This order can change when a tower is available permanently elsewhere or a skin is the player’s main goal. Keep the decision explicit.

Squad planning

Events bring new players and unfamiliar maps. Assign one player to early defense, one to group coverage, one to durable targets, and one to support or economy when the party size permits. Share the exact badge restriction before queueing; a modifier can invalidate Clean Sweep or Home Run even when it helps the clear.

For all-map tasks, rotate through the selector systematically. Mark progress only after the badge UI or event tracker updates. If one map fails repeatedly, practice it on the same required difficulty rather than farming easier maps that no longer advance the objective.

Historical event archive

Official badges confirm past Halloween 2025, Christmas 2025, Natural Disaster Survival, April Fools 2026, Armless Detective, and Endless event objectives, along with multiple event map names. An enabled badge does not prove the associated event shop is currently open.

Historical pages remain useful for collection provenance and trading context. Each record should state the original condition, badge date, known reward, current return status, and whether any permanent route now exists. Unknown return dates should be shown as return unknown.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Forsaken collaboration live?

The official Experience title contains [FORSAKEN COLLAB], and the relevant official badges were updated August 21, 2026. Check the live event menu for remaining time.

How many Forsaken maps are there?

The official badges require every Forsaken map but do not give a count or names. Community sources report four; verify the current selector before marking the checklist complete.

Does the Endless Event still run?

The historical event badge and community archive confirm it existed. Endless Mode is still officially advertised, but the old pass, currency, and shop require current in-game confirmation.
