Retro Tower Defense Map List

Check a verified Retro Tower Defense map list built from official badge names, with route, placement, difficulty, and availability checks.

Roblox’s official Retro Tower Defense badge catalog provides strong evidence for classic map names, while the live map selector determines what can be played now. A badge can remain public after a map rotates or changes, so this list distinguishes an Official name from current availability, exact path geometry, and rewards.

Officially evidenced classic maps

Public badge names or descriptions confirm Crossroads, Doomspire, Chaos Canyon, Glass Houses, Haunted Mansion, Rocket Arena, and Space Station. The experience description also highlights Crossroads and Doomspire as iconic stages. Use the exact spelling from the live selector if it changes.

These names do not establish the current difficulty set, wave count, enemy path, reward, or unlock requirement. Mark each map Active, Rotated, Locked, or Unchecked after opening the selector on the active build.

Record route geometry

For every active map, count entrances, exits, lane intersections, overlapping segments, curves, elevated or restricted zones, and scarce central tiles. Draw a simple route from entrance to base. A tower’s listed range matters only in relation to that geometry.

Test whether one placement sees a path twice, whether terrain blocks placement, and whether multiple lanes merge. Save a screenshot before filling the board so later comparisons use the same landmarks.

Compare maps under equal conditions

Use the same difficulty, modifiers, party size, opener, and wave pacing. Record the first placement, first upgrade, earliest leak, dangerous group, durable enemy, and clear time. This shows whether a map is hard because of path geometry or because the loadout changed.

Do not call one map “best for farming” from a first-clear bonus. Separate base reward, mission bonus, badge reward, event reward, and one-time completion. Measure several repeatable runs.

Placement questions for each map

Identify an early coverage tile, a premium long-term tile, a support cluster, an economy-safe region, and one emergency replacement space. Do not spend the premium center on a starter that you expect to sell unless the early defense requires it.

Check targeting behavior at bends and intersections. A unit may switch enemies unexpectedly when two path segments enter range. Test First, Last, Strongest, or other targeting options only if the current tower exposes them.

Difficulty and modifier fields

Record exactly which difficulties the selector allows on each map. Official badges confirm Casual, Normal, Hard, and Insane win concepts, while Endless is officially described separately. The current UI is authoritative for combinations.

Modifiers can change enemy behavior and invalidate certain badge goals. The official Forsaken collaboration descriptions require no modifiers for Clean Sweep and Home Run. Keep modifier-free badge runs separate from experimental or farming records.

Classic achievement checks

Official badge data includes named map achievements such as Brickbattler for Crossroads. Verify the exact badge condition before attempting it, because a map clear may require a particular mode. Stay through the result screen and record whether the badge notification appears.

Do not assume a Roblox badge automatically grants a tower, skin, or Tix unless the description or live reward panel says so. Cross-experience collaboration badges explicitly name Forsaken rewards and should be tracked separately.

Build a map ledger

Use one row per live map version:

  1. Exact map name and availability date.
  2. Mode, difficulty, modifiers, and party size.
  3. Entrances, exits, overlaps, and restricted tiles.
  4. Recommended opener position by landmark, not raw coordinates.
  5. First danger and late failure point.
  6. Base, repeatable, and one-time rewards shown.
  7. Official badge or event association.

When geometry changes, preserve the old row with its date rather than merging two layouts.

Focused route guides

Use the Crossroads Guide for a map-learning workflow on the experience’s highlighted classic stage. The Forsaken Maps page covers collaboration completion conditions without inventing the unnamed live list.

Confidence: the seven named classic maps are Official from Roblox badge data, and Crossroads/Doomspire are Official from the description. Current availability, layouts, rewards, waves, unlocks, and mode combinations need in-game testing.

Before sharing a route, reopen the map on a second device size and confirm that landmark descriptions still make sense without a desktop screenshot. Prefer names such as entrance bridge, central intersection, or base-side bend over “top-left tile.” This keeps placement guidance usable on mobile and after camera-angle changes.
